At the last meeting someone mentioned having a source for locally (ish) made t-shirts for printing on. Can I get the brand and any contact info you may have for this?
My work is wanting to purchase some shirts off of Timu and I'm hoping to present a more Canadian option.

We had a quote from All About Imprint, they seem like they have a very ethically sourced product.
Picket Fence Graphics also does clothing, I've had shirts made up there. I did not research the various back-end bits of the clothing brands they carry, but they did very good work for me.

This was from Aaron Wiebe. He sourced t-shirts for TRU from All about Imprint. This sourcing was pre-tarriffs/Trump-nonsense when being Canadian wasn't the primary factor but rather ethically sourced. Aaron asked for t-shirts that came from 'B-Corp' accredited sources. You can learn about that at:
https://www.bcorporation.net/en-us/certification/I think we would need to ask specifically about non-US sourcing for KCC. Cotton could only be grown indoors in Canada and I am not aware of anyone doing that. However, non-USA sources must be available.

The folks at my work seem to order from Temu all the time. It drives me crazy because it contributes to such a throwaway society and is the least local thing you can do.
I honestly believe that at some point we are going to have to create a recovery program specifically around online shopping. Participants come to the desk and open their packages like it's Christmas because they have no recollection of what they even ordered. Just so simple to just scroll through an app, see something you like and press send.

Hi Neil,
we didn't get into the weeds. Basically two themes:
1)what is the current support for Active Transportation on Council?
2)what could be done to improve that?
