Left Hand Turn Costs. $3.4 Million for an additional left hand turn lane!

Hi Everyone,
Castanet has reported the city approved an extra $1.1 million dollars to add a left hand turn lane to the Pacific Way/Highway 1 Off-ramp. The new price tag for an additional left hand turn lane is $3.4 million.

Let's make sure to bring this number up every time someone complains about the cost of a bike lane. I'm only opposed to the additional lane as I would be for any additional lane. Council has approved the spending, I'm not going to make a fuss about that. I just want to point out cars cost $$$$ vs. bikes that cost $$.
