@skye My two cents? Yes! Thanks for posting these. Nice to see all the activity.

City wants everything to be a Multi Use PathwaysI don't know anyone directly but I can offer the following. When we did GBBW a couple of years ago, at the McCracken site, we counted ??38?? bikes heading into downtown. Of those, 2 were men on e-bikes commuting to the data centers at the end of McGill; one from Juniper and one ?V'view? Then there was the teacher from Juniper who e-bike commutes to Pacific Way Elementary! Yes, all the way up!! And someone else who came along knew her and said that she used to do it on a regular bike, just not as often. So we have those stats, as a starter. Not sure how to track down the people unless someone wanted to make a cold call to Pac Way. Can only be one teacher there who e-bike commutes from Juniper. And, as a Plan B, I'll text my friend that teaches there; she's bound to know her. Who should that teacher contact? My friend may not want to give me the cyclists contact info (privacy). (follow all this? haha! Typing during a zoom meeting while getting dressed for some final laps at Sun Peaks. 7 cm. fresh!!)

City wants everything to be a Multi Use Pathways100% agree with Trent. Given I'm outside a lot of the meetings that have occurred, I hope we're making our dissatisfaction(s) obvious and being complimentary of the good, of course. But we're not here to be friends. We're here to advocate and to get along but that doesn't mean being pushovers and not pushing boundaries. But - again - I'm saying this with very little participation in the last year or so.

City wants everything to be a Multi Use PathwaysI've seen an online link in my e-mail. Here's their main one but I can't find the letters section (brief look). They do list hard copy locations, too. https://kamloopschronicle.com/

City wants everything to be a Multi Use PathwaysYour frustration is well-put and not new. We need a change in leadership to bring a change in philosophy. Nothing new here and nothing changing at the City. Read my letter in the latest Chronicle, a re-write of a letter in KTW about 2 years ago.

General Discussion & QuestionsSorry, Neil. I got caught up in other stuff so didn't post anything. Rob's posted a couple of good questions. Might want to remind yourself of some issues and situations so you have your own list of discussion points. My two cents.

General Discussion & QuestionsNeil, I've had t-shirts made by LN Group but it was a few years ago, before we worried about where the shirts came from. As for Temu, that surprises me; they have lots of bad press for poor quality products and other issues.

Schubert Drive extensionI was told today that Stephen Karpuk is working on extending the Schubert MUP, south end, to connect with the Overlanders Bridge w.r.t improved connectivity. The proposal involves acquiring 1-2 pieces of land. Estimated budget right now is $3-4 million. Not much appetite at the Council table to spend that right now.
Good to know it's under discussion but where does this sit in terms of cycling priorities?

Prioritized street sweeping bike lanesAny snow we get this time of year doesn't last more than a few hours. No different than getting rained on. It's all the more reason to get the bike lanes cleaned so we can use them rather than cycle on wet roads with cars following us.

Pioneer ParkYou comment about Riverside is the only one that makes sense for locating this here. The difference is that Pioneer is an off-leash area for dogs, which significantly changes the traffic volume / type / patterns. No reply yet from Fretz / Putnam to my e-mail.
